Mental Health Support
PreK - High School
At AU2, we believe that strong mental health helps build a solid foundation for a child’s success both in and out of school. Our mission is to serve as a protective factor for the youth in our community by ensuring that families feel supported, informed, and empowered when navigating the often-complex world of mental and behavioral health services.
Many families face challenges understanding how to access the right mental health resources for their children. At AU2, we help families better understand the mental and behavioral health services available in our area so they can make informed decisions about what will work best for their child’s unique needs. Whether a child is struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, or other mental health concerns, we guide parents and caregivers through options and help connect them to trusted professionals and community resources.
We also recognize that communication and collaboration are critical when supporting a child’s mental health. AU2 serves as a bridge between outside mental health providers and your child’s school-based support team, including school counselors and school social workers. We help ensure that everyone involved in a child’s care is working together, sharing information appropriately, and coordinating services to promote the child’s overall well-being and academic success.
At AU2, our goal is to reduce the barriers families often face in seeking mental health support. We’re here to listen, provide guidance, and advocate for what’s best for each child and family. Together, we can build a stronger, healthier community where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
